Having worked in Higher Education for 10 years, Claire McGrady currently works as Head of International Marketing at Middlesex University.
Previously, she worked in various roles across student recruitment and marketing at Coventry University London and Brunel University. Claire leads on all marketing items for prospective EU and International students from enquiry to enrolment. She is passionate about the International student journey, and finding new ways to improve it, to give students coming to the UK the best possible customer service.
University College London (UCL)
As a Campaigns Manager at UCL, Stephanie Limuaco has designed and developed award-winning marketing communication campaigns that maximise the use of digital marketing techniques, podcasts, email marketing, events, and story-telling for the purpose of student recruitment, branding, and research communications.

Gerrit is the Founder and CEO of Study.eu, the most-visited study choice platform focusing on (greater) Europe as a destination. His motto: “Simplicity is king.”
Google Ads & SEO Specialist
Guus Goorts helps Higher Education Institutions take control of their online marketing through hands-on e-courses.
He believes that international experiences can make the world a better place. After an exchange, he lived in Singapore for 10 years and founded a study portal site for language schools.
Currently based in the Netherlands, he has run SEO and paid search campaigns for institutions like British Council, MDIS and Avans University.
He believes that HEIs need to deeply understand their online marketing, even if they plan to outsource it. That's also the idea behind his book: Successful student recruitment with Google Ads.
Study in Sweden / Swedish Institute
Born and raised in the USA, Douglas Washburn has now spent nearly half his life in his adopted home of Sweden enjoying the fantastic work-life balance of Scandinavia. He brings years of experience in higher education to his current role as a Senior Marketing Manager at the Swedish Institute, the national agency for promoting Sweden abroad. Douglas is responsible for the Study in Sweden brand and is a frequent speaker on marketing in international higher education on topics such as destination branding, and student created content.

Graeme Tong is the Head of International Recruitment at the University of Greenwich.
Graeme’s 15+ years’ experience of working within education have seen him work for a variety of organisations, from start-up to large multinational and with experience of working in over 25 countries.
Pickle Jar Communications
Mikki Collins is a Content and Experience Designer at Pickle Jar Communications. Mikki has a strong social media background in the Higher Education sector and proven award-winning experience for digital content campaigns and projects she has produced.
She previously worked for the University of Chichester as their Digital Content Producer for 5.5 years. In that time, Chichester achieved the number 1 ranked UK University on TikTok in 2022 and 2023, and the Champion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in content at the ContentEd awards for the final series of the University’s podcast all about minority groups.
IE University
Emanuel Díaz is Head of Content Marketing at IE University in Madrid and a storytelling lover and aficionado. His passion for content started in the banking industry in his native Puerto Rico, where he was leading copy and digital marketing for the institution. The challenge of making a bank soulful caught him. A Fulbright grant took him to Madrid to study at IE, in which he stayed as the Associate Director of Alumni Communications. Emanuel has a passion for creativity, emotional content, and weaving stories that showcase the beauty of working in the educational sector. He is also a proud collaborator in LGBTQ+ initiatives and does improv theater in his free time.
